for 50ml required:
-50ml of pure alcohol, but at least 70% ethanol (not isopropyl alcohol!)
-12g dried, finely ground plant material (flowers and leaves)
Directions:
Place the plant parts in a screw-top jar and add 50 ml of alcohol. Store the jar at room temperature and shake once or twice daily.
After 3 days, pour through a suitable cloth or sieve and fill into a suitable container (amber glass pipette bottle).
The plant parts can be infused with alcohol again. The tincture in the second infusion will be somewhat weaker, but still effective.
If you want to reduce the alcohol content of the tincture, you can place the tincture in a shallow container with as large a surface area as possible and place it in a well-ventilated, dark place for two to five hours.
